CRADLE KIDS BENEFITED FROM PHINMA EMPLOYEE-VOLUNTEERISM

The 39 young offenders at CRADLE were treated to a Christmas lunch last December 17, 2008 by a group of employees from the PHINMA group of companies. Mostly from the Human Resource Development Division, the group personally funded the meals and the gift packs.  This is just an initial response to the call of PHINMA Management for their employees to be more socially conscious and to participate on their own in various ministries/apostolates or projects of their choice, that could benefit the poor and the marginalized.  By January, 2009, PHINMA will launch “The Hero’s Network” that will institutionalize the Employee Volunteerism Program.  For its part, PHINMA Inc. will raise counterpart funds for chosen projects. ACE IPI will be invited as one of the possible beneficiary-agencies.
